For the 804 Congress Avenue project we are building a combined table and planter system to provide the restaurant with a sidewalk cafe setting in the heart of downtown.
The site is located on the northwest corner of Congress Ave and 8th Street (Two blocks from the Capitol building).
The steel rail provides an architectural feature, while at the same time providing a security feature for the restaurant patron in case of accidental car trying to leave the road.
This project is completely modular, and could be removed from the site if necessary. Hence the brackets seen inside of the planter.
This rail serves to designate the dining area from the pedestrian area on the sidewalk.
As part of this job we also designed and built this walk up ordering window.
This job provides a great example of how much we can do, regardless of the size of the space and the constraints of the job site.
Special thanks to Blue & Associates for using us on this job.
